COVID-19 and the Properties We Manage

Condominium Associates' is fully operational and has added personnel to accommodate the needs of residents. We practice federal, state, and local guidelines and have mobilized most of our staff to work from home or on the road. We are facilitating remote meetings for associations. We are an essential business, and therefore our office will remain open.

As always, we are here for the properties we manage. Therefore, we want to provide you with CDC and Florida Department of Health resources on how to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

1. Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers to Plan and Respond to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

The following interim guidance may help prevent workplace exposure to COVID-19 in non-healthcare settings. This guidance also includes planning considerations for the community spread of COVID-19.

2. People Who Need to Take Extra Precautions

COVID-19 is a new disease, and there is limited information regarding risk factors for severe disease. Based on currently available knowledge and clinical expertise, older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19.

3. If You Are Sick or Caring for Someone

If you are sick with COVID-19 or suspect your infected with the virus that causes COVID-19, you should take steps to help prevent the disease from spreading to people in your home and community.

4. Florida Community Mitigation

Florida has had several COVID-19 confirmed cases and exposures related to ports of entry, including shipping ports and airports. Due to the current level of COVID-19 transmission in the United States, and Florida's large older adult population, CDC recommends certain community mitigation activities to help slow the spread of COVID-19 into the community and to protect vulnerable members of the community.

5. Travelers Returning from International Travel

There is widespread, ongoing transmission of novel coronavirus worldwide (see Global COVID-19 Pandemic Notice). If you have traveled internationally in the past 14 days, stay home, and monitor your health.

6. Daily Life and Coping

Learn how you can plan, prepare, and cope with stress before and during a COVID-19 outbreak.

7. What you Need to Know Now about COVID-19 in Florida
